2. The cookies we use
Essential cookies

- algol-lang (cookie and local storage, 1 year): remembers the language you chose.
- algol-age-ok (local storage, 24 hours): remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older.
- algol-consent (cookie, 6 months): remembers your answer to the cookie notice.
- algol-ev-… (session storage, until you close the browser tab): makes sure a game visit or demo start is counted only once in our anonymous game statistics.
- Session cookie of the content management system (until you close the browser): used only when our staff sign in to manage the website.
Analytics cookies
If we use analytics services (for example Google Analytics) to understand how the website is used, their cookies are set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you click “Reject”, or make no choice, they are not used. Game demos
Game demos shown on this website may be delivered from servers operated by us or by our technology partners. While you play a demo, the game may store its own information in your browser, for example the settings of the demo.
